Review: A nice well made blade! - I used the blade to cut ruby. It is a bit wide and wastes material but cuts easily, stays sharp. The center hole is a one inch diameter, not the smaller size quoted! Over all, the blade is well made with diamonds well mounted and showed no wear after 10 cuts and inch deep. After mounting in the saw, the blade ran true. I use water as a cutting coolant. It works better if you can feed really hard material slowly and evenly, with the material ether clamped or glued down to avoid breaking the last little bit, sort of a sled with a screw feed.

I used the blade to cut ruby. It is a bit wide and wastes material but cuts easily, stays sharp. The center hole is a one inch diameter, not the smaller size quoted! Over all, the blade is well made with diamonds well mounted and showed no wear after 10 cuts and inch deep. After mounting in the saw, the blade ran true. I use water as a cutting coolant. It works better if you can feed really hard material slowly and evenly, with the material ether clamped or glued down to avoid breaking the last little bit, sort of a sled with a screw feed.
