At first...keep reading *by M***S on August 8, 2011* Okay, so I readily want to leave feedback for these. I am a nurse and I stay on my feet for 10 out of the 12 hours and I have to say that only after two nights of working, I can honestly say I love these shoes. I know they are men's but they look the best and match my scrubs. At first, they felt like something between being a little buzzed from a drink and walking on sand, but after a couple of hours, I adjusted. In the mornings after I got off, I noticed my legs were not hurting, especially my knees. I have a little more energy in my step than with my previous shoes (Shox, Saucony, and ZigFuel). I don't know if they Amazon will allow me to post another review after a month or so, but if I can, I will and provide a high mileage review.Update:I forgot I purchased these shoses on Amazon and forgot after the month as promised to post, sorry. I was reviewing other things and saw them. I stopped wearing these shoes about 5 months after I purchased them because they began to hurt my ankles. At first they were great but then I started noticing my ankles were hurting after wearing them. I didnt think it was the shoes because they didn't hurt immediately,so I kept on. Then I said, just let me wear something else for a week and see if I still had the problem and then my ankles stopped hurting. Also, the MBT decal came off the shoes which I thought was really weird..almost as if they were fake. I hope I didn't get fake shoes especially since I paid full price at the time of purchase. Looks like they are cheaper now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very interesting design *by A***N on February 11, 2013* They feel very natural and comfortable once you are used to walking in them, and the knee soreness I used to feel after taking long walks has lessened quite noticeably. I would recommend these as a great walking shoe that feels very comfortable, partly due to the large black foam piece in the heel that you can see in the picture.These shoes are not good for standing, so if you have a job that requires you to be on your feet and stationary for long amounts of time, I would not recommend these. The base of the shoe at the heel is thin and curved, which makes standing still feel very odd.I would also not recommend these shoes in inclement weather as I have found that they make it much harder to keep your balance when snow and ice are on the ground, which I learned courtesy of Nemo. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If the shoe fits.....and it does. *by S***Y on May 6, 2013* I have exclusively worn MBT shoes for the past 12 years, for business, casual and sports activities. The first models were far from stylish and difficult to find in the USA but the workmanship was very good. Today the quality continues to be as expected and the variety of new styles matches any other high-end brand of shoes. To get the full benefit of the shoes one should learn the proper foot motion and gait. This may take a few days and then it becomes automatic and natural. Individuals with large bunions or excessively wide feet, 2E and wider, should avoid these shoes; they are made to fit a standard medium D. Beware of cheap imitations from other brands, they may cause more harm than good.The shoes are pricey but you get more than you expect in quality, comfort and durability.
