UPDATE 6/23/2026 My youngest dog is a HEAVY chewer and I no longer love these or buy them. I noticed little pieces were getting swallowed to the point where I could see little bits in his stool. They seemed to still be very hard. Although they were broken down a little, they were still large enough to be noticeable. Maybe the size of rice grains. After looking into the bones more, it is not all natural. There is plastic in these and that is what my dog is passing (I hope all of it has passed). I got these to be a safe fully natural alternative long lasting chew, but nope. I should have deep dove more, but I feel like the information should be fully upfront and transparent. I shouldn't have to dig to really find out what all the materials are.

I wish you could buy the hemp chew separately because that one is very much a favorite in my house, so after 2 years and 2 purchases, I have barely any left of the remaining hemp chew, but still 2 of the dogwood chews that neither dog is as interested in anymore. I'd love to buy a couple more of just the hemp one.

I had to buy six because of how much my two dogs love them. They even fight over them sometimes. They are hard, but soften as they chew so no worries on their teeth. Our dogs love these. Keeps them busy for a long time. They are very hard for our Corgis and even for our 100+ Anatolian. I wish they could do more of his breath lol. They do leave little pieces of the bone after some intense chewing.
