This Epson photo paper worked well on my Brother color printer (MFC-J4310DW), considering the printer is suited more for quick business printing and not for graphic printing. The thickness is just right so it feels heavy enough in your hand but thin enough to go through my low-end printer without getting stuck because of the thickness of paper. It doesn't have super glossy finish, but rather a soft gloss like satin finish. This paper is great for printing large photos or pictures. I framed the prints and they make beautiful gifts that are personalized too. In my opinion Epson paper is better than HP or Brother printing paper regardless of the maker of the printer.
