The only reason I didn’t give it a five star for value is that it IS a bit pricey. I wasn’t sure about the pistol grip style but soon fell in love with it. Pulling the trigger slightly to the first “stop” turns on the airflow. The rest of the trigger travel controls the amount of paint flow. You can adjust the max paint flow if you like by twisting the knob on the rear of the brush. This brush has great control. It can produce smooth clean fine lines and wide spray in one quality built unit. Changing needle sizes is a breeze. The airbrush disassembles easily and can be quickly cleaned between color changes. I have been using the previous XT version for many years until this new TRITIUM TG3 came out. It is perfection!!! It has been greatly improved to be the best one can buy. The cup is a top feed (instead of side feed in the previous XT version) so this improved version sprays and cleans with greater ease. The major advancement is the interchangeable needle sizes. It comes with a .3mm. I have bought all of the others (.2mm for very fine detail, .5mm for medium work and the .7mm for heavy more viscous liquids that are nearly impossible to spray through other airbrushes).
