They are a bit narrow as other people have said, but the quality is excellent and they didn't need any break-in. I can wear them all day, but the narrowness does make it a bit uncomfortable if I've been standing for hours on end.I did also notice that the sole of the shoe seems to push into the ball of my right foot a bit (but the left is fine). I figure this will even out the more I wear them. They are the "vent" version, but they are still quite warm. So if it's really hot out, you'd be better with a mesh shoe. These are good in most weather conditions, however. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They look warm but they are not so bad even in August *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2015* They add spring to my steps and, at my age, I need all the extra spring I can get. They look warm but they are not so bad even in August.I have not worn them long enough to comment on the arch support, but they fit well. I think they are a good buy for this brand. I would buy them again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost as good as a solid Lowa. *by F***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2015* Great shoe like most Lowa's and I have 6 pair, but toe box on this pair is more constricted.very light shoe. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/181305460-lowa-mens-tempest-vent-hiking-shoe](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/181305460-lowa-mens-tempest-vent-hiking-shoe) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
