I bought this filter from all the filters on Amazon, because the answer to this question was "Yes, it's made in USA". **Q: I have 1/4" pex tubing for my water line. how to i connect this? the 1/4" poly tubing od is smaller than the pex.** A: My 1/4 inch just pushed into the filter and all was fine. **Q: Will this filter reduce the amount of bacteria and germs?** A: The answer is NO. This filter is not designed to do that.
