Thoughtful touches included were spare plastic tensioners for the straps that hold it to the cradle (should they break in use ) A dedicated plastic timer adjuster that is like a small screwdriver I have taped these to the fan in a bag so they are never lost and handy if I ever need to adjust timer. Overall very impressed it’s powerful , very quiet and the timer run on after you have switched off can be adjusted from zero to around 30 mins . I’m using this in really cold weather and there is zero steam escaping the shower cubicle the bathroom mirror does not even steam up and it clears any very very quickly . I suggest attaching the hoses with aluminium tape as it’s solid seals very well and is weatherproof , used by HVAC pipes fitters it’s good stuff . Also 100% recommend from me .

Noise Measured installed in duct or free standing detached ?**
A: Measured at 3m.  
This is a generic fan design, they are all the same.
The 33W  version is up to 56dBA at 1m Euro-spec.

**Q: What is the max temperature it can handle?**
A: According to the technical data of the fan the maximum temperature of the air removal is 60 degrees centigrade.

**Q: I'll need to reduce the outlet ducting of the fan from 100mm to 50mm to get it past obstructions to the soffit. Will this fan cope with that?**
A: That may reduce the extract rate or put strain on the fan motor.  Suggest putting I roof tile outlet or split outlet to y piece to two 50mm outlets.

**Q: Can it be used if you plug it straight into the outlet?**
A: You can wire a UK three pin plug and it will work great. Please search for 'fantronix hydroponic' in the search bar and you'll find our four, five, and six inch diameter fans available with a fitted UK plug.

Powerful, quiet , well made , value for money , Easy peasy to wire in -no earth required just Live Neutral A second switched live ( activated when you switch on light inside shower cubicle ) Mounted mine on some foam ( kids play-mat type that you clip together ) ,just cut it to size job done . Good fan, not overly loud, easy to mount due to the way the fan clips into its enclosure, which also means it's easy to swap out (or open it up to clean it, but that's a bit optimistic 😅) The electrical connector could do with being a bit bigger, it's awkward enough getting flex in there without ferrules.
