In simple terms, these are: N - Nitrogen: promotes the growth of leaves and vegetation P - Phosphorus: promotes root and shoot growth K - Potassium: regulation of water and nutrient movement in plant cells, purportedly promoting flowering and fruiting. There are six primary nutrients that plants require. Plants get the first three-carbon, hydrogen and oxygen-from air and water. The other three are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Nitrogen helps plants make the proteins they need to produce new tissues. Few of my plants potted in garden soil were wilting even after proper watering and sunlight, after applying the NPK properly mixed with water and applying around the soil my plants started growing well and further developes flowers and pods. But you must have patience as the plants don't grow within a day, so I didn't use it so frequently, I have used it after 15 to 20 days seeing the growing conditions, use the product and let the plants take their time to grow naturally. Most importantly: It is better to use less than half of the dosage mentioned with the product.
