I do not own a g305 but have one on its way. I am 20cm/10cm and I could palm it but claw was more suited. Finger tip is fine too. **Q: Is this second generation swich?** A: Probably too late for answers to this for you, but in case anyone else searches it, from what I could tell looking it up online, it seems it may vary depending on batch, but I'm guessing all Viper Ultimates ordered by now probably have the second generation switches. I can tell you that the switches in the one I got are quite a bit quieter than the usually loud switches of most mice. I was always disappointed how loud mouse switches are -- even optical switches -- so I was pleasantly surprised how these sound at least a bit more muted than the norm. It's still quite a notable click sound, but a lot quieter than normal.
