Review: Very nice watch - Purchased this watch for my husband who has dementia. He just needed it tell time. He had an Apple Watch that stopped working after he got in the pool. Review: Seriously tough watch! Very great watch! - I purchased two of these watches, one for each of my sons. I purchased them in December of 2024, gave it to them in February of 2025 and am writing this review in July 2026. My oldest wears his daily. It works very well for him. He receives texts and uses it for step tracking and telling time. He loves changing the background for the season or event. He said he doesn't need to charge it too often, and that he maybe charges it once every week or two. My youngest is eight years younger than his brother.. and less responsible. His watch has gone through the washing machine twice and the dryer once - on high heat - and is still ticking. No visible damage, and seemingly, no functional damage. He answers my calls on it and also enjoys the steps tracking and changing the pictures. Why his watch ever ends up in his pockets, I have no clue. This watch though, it has done nothing but amaze me. His brother typically charges it for him or he charges it himself when he realizes it is dead. I honestly never write reviews. If I have, it was one other time and genuinely don't remember what it was or that I actually did. I feel I must for this amazing watch. I don't know, maybe I am not aware that other watches can easily survive what this one has, but I don't think so. This watch is pretty amazing!

**Q: How's the battery life on this watch?**
A: Bought one for the wife in 4-2000.  It just now went kaput!.  Won't hold charge, then wouldn't charge at all.  Warranty outdated, unfortunately.  Not sure if this is normal life span; but watch was very well taken care of, and only in a wet situation in the shower/sink/swimming pool.  Worked perfect other than when it quit......Going to buy another just like it!

**Q: Do I have to have a account like Fitbit that charges me money?**
A: No, you can download a customized app from Google Play and App store, it's free for you to have a account.

**Q: Can I shower and go to the swimming pool with the watch?**
A: Mine died after a couple of days of off and on soaking in 104 degree hot springs. Every watch I looked at as a replacement has a warning about hot water, saunas...but this one didn't. I had showered with it dozens of times without a problem and gone swimming in cooler water a number of times.

**Q: Can the gps let a family member know whete i am if i get lost?**
A: Unfortunately no, the GPS is just so it tracks your steps/workout but you can't actually see that info

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything my Fitbit did and more! For a LOT LESS Money!

So my Fitbit of 4+ years was getting beat up pretty good. Battery went from 5 days to about 3, so I thought I would replace it. After checking the price tag of $200, I decided to look for alternatives. I was hesitant in ordering this Fitpolo watch, but for the price point, I had to give it a try. I must say, that it arrived fast, and was exactly as described. Functionality was beyond the Fitbit. Set up was fast and easy, especially since it came fully charged. I don't need any of the fancy functions, just time, date, alarm, steps, heart rate, and sleep. It does all that and more! I like that it also give me my local weather as my wife is always asking me what the temperature is, and I would have to open my phone and check the app. Not any more! While I don't use it for calls or messaging, that function is also included and works well when I tested it. While there is a huge selection of clock faces, almost all of them have way more than I prefer. I use the basic digital one, but even that has more info than I need. Lots of faces to choose from for free or for a minimal fee <$1. I really needed a watch that would let me set an alarm, and this one can set multiple ones just like my Fitbit. So far, battery life is superb. A day and a half in it is at 81%, so it looks like I will certainly get close to a week in between charges. I suppose the only thing I don't like is that it does not shut off the display automatically at night when I am sleeping. I have to set that manually each night before I go to bed, otherwise every time I move my arm the display will light up. Not a huge problem, but one to be aware of. Ultimately, for the price point of ~$40, it certainly replaces my Fitbit completely and while I may not get 4+ years out of it, I am saving $$$ in the mean time. I am hoping that some of the reviews saying the watch malfunctions after a month are flukes, as I really like this watch and am hoping it was the right purchase.
