I ended up having to double over the straps so it didn't just hang between the seats, as it didn't adjust tight enough on its own. Overall - it worked fine for me. I got this product because I was trying to come up with a solution for my 60 lb. dog to stay in the back seat and not hang out on the center console in my car, which she has done since she was a puppy. It's not very sturdy, but I am lucky that she is the kind of dog that noticed that there was suddenly a barrier there, so that meant that she couldn't go past it - even though she could easily just step over it. It's a decent product and gives me a place to put my purse while I am driving instead of having it sitting in the front seat. It is SO useful. It has mesh pockets on both sides, which is useful for passengers in the back to use a pocket on their side and both said pockets can be accessed from the front seats also. The car organizer is made of strong mesh, the seams are good and the straps are strong and easily adjustable. So far, we've used it to store handbags, cameras, cell phones, tablets, snacks, wallets, gloves, beanies and other miscellaneous items. We bought this during a promotional event and this is our experience of it. Without a little wedged bottom, it's a little hard to turn around and wrestle it open to slide purse in, but I simply took a small rigid piece of plastic and shoved it in one side down on the bottom. It holds it open just enough that it's easy to toss my purse in.
