**Q: Where can I buy a ladder for this hardware?**
A: Basically, nowhere!  I couldn't find one for a reasonable price.  I made my own.  You can make your own. 1x4 for the rails, 1x6 for the steps, 3/4 inch dowel for the top. Round all the edges, Cut the top of the rail to fit the brackets. Hint:  before cutting the long rails, set them where you want them to touch the floor and the library railing ….then cut to length.   will depend on the final angle of the ladder.  Then paint or stain.   I painted mine with high gloss black paing, then sprayed it with lacquer (could use verithane clear hgh gloss.

**Q: Is there a 9' ladder available?**
A: Make it yourself.  You will have to buy one extra rung support or widen the space between rungs by an inch or so.

**Q: Hello, is it possible to purchase a 42' Track?**
A: Go to Rockler.com.  Buy the 6 ft piece and cut it.

**Q: Can I Use the kit with a metal ladder?**
A: I suppose you can have a metal ladder.  It will be a challenge when drilling holes for the kit.  Also, a wood ladder has nice weight which provides a sturdy set up.
