Some were “natural” sprays. Idk maybe they work but listen I could not deal with this longer than necessary and if they didn’t work id just need more. So I’m like …. K I need the CHEMICALS. all of them. Every single chemical possible that can kill these summsab*tches right? desertcart had this for next day delivery and of course I clicked “1 click purchase” after reading the top couple of reviews and bottom couple reviews (my go to method for online purchasing). Along with just seeing any spider in general and going into near panic attack, I also bought this product because we have an older home, with all wood floors. Every corner, in our living room specifically, got cobwebs so quickly. And a couple spiders per web. I didn’t know spider shared a web. Maybe they don’t and it was two webs. IDFK. anyway so I’d be vacuuming them every other day. I figured this can would be good - if it didn’t work, it was only $5 wasted. I mean I don’t love wasting $ or products but if it didn’t work out at least I hadn’t spent more than $5 ya know? Anyway I barricaded my dogs away from the entire wall where fireplace is. I sprayed along baseboards, up the sides of the walls, and a lil extra shot of spray in the corners. I got under the mantle, on top of the mantle, all over. I was worried the smell would be overwhelming. It was definitely strong and I was like crap should I have done something different to protect the dogs? I turned on fans and just made sure they didn’t show any weird signs. They didn’t. They were just fine. I could not open the windows that day for ventilation bc it was over 100*… but you also don’t want fans blowing WHILE you’re spraying, because that’ll cause the spray to not get exactly where you want it. So the air was stagnant while I sprayed which I think didn’t help. If I did this again I’d probably put the doggos in my bedroom or barricade them from the front of the house all together for a couple hours. I did keep stuff in front of the fireplace and walls for 24 hours just bc my dogs are obviously sniffing extraordinaries and I wanted them to not have a chance of getting any of that on their snoots! Anyway it’s been like … a few weeks since I sprayed. I check every other day with a flashlight to check the corners and such for cobwebs. NONE. 😭 I am very pleased and will continue to purchase this! I also used it outdoors on our deck and it worked great. Even if I had to spray again every 2 months instead of however long it’ll says it’ll last, it’s still absolutely worth it. Review: Works well, like Raid, but not as fast. - I've gone through a bottle of this, and have ordered a replacemet, so decided it was time to review. My apartment complex has a lot of plants and greenery, and, thus, lots of bugs and lots of spiders who eat those bugs. I don't mind them so much if they stay outside where they belong, but, eventualy, some of them end up crawling into my home, at which point I draw the line. Before using this spray, I used Raid, which, well, works like a killer. The problem with the Raid is the smell, which is either really foul or really perfume-y, depending on what kind you get. Either type of smell gives me headaches and migraines, so I went in search of an alternative. When I found this Terro spray, I decided to give it a shot, based on all the reviews. It wasn't long before I got a chance to test it out, and it does the job it's supposed to do, although not as fast as Raid. With Raid, it usually just takes one spray and the spider begins to show signs of poisoned death immediately. With the Terro, I found myself spraying and then watching a spider that was seemingly unaffected. When I kept watching, however, the spiders eventually fell from their spots, crawled a little, and then died. One of the reviews say that the spiders seem to melt...this is fairly accurate, in my view. I just vaccuum the dead bodies up in order to avoid touching them, but a few baby ones that I sprayed had to be wiped off my bathroom counter, as they had stuck there from melting a little. Although it doesnt work as FAST as Raid, it does work well, and it doesn't have that horribly overpowering smell that Raid does. There is a smell, of course, but it's not as strong fo a smell and it doesn't spread to every corner of the house like Raid smell does. This smell stays localized in the sprayed area and then dissipates fairly quickly. I don't think if it keeps spiders away for months as it claims, but it does keep them away for two or three weeks, which is pretty good by me.

**Q: If I spray around the house will it prevent spiders or does it only work with direct contact.  I want to prevent them from coming in as well.**
A: I just got 2 cans delivered today for under 12$ from here. We have found multiple baby & adult brown recluse & a few wolf spiders outside right on our front door/porch area. We sprayed today and came home to find 1 suffering/dying from it being sprayed on everything hours before. We noticed no others anywhere. We also found a dead one right inside our door on a toy that got sprayed. I believe this works with direct contact to it, it does also help prevent them from coming back, but we also bought some ortho spray in a gallon which we have sprayed on top of it and around our home and yard. We have also used peppermint, coconut oil & vinegar mixture around the inside of our home and in our windows to help keep them out. As a person who will scream & have a heart attack over a spider even a spider the size of a penny so far the methods I am using is keeping my heart off the monitors! Good luck to all with keeping those creepy things away! Hoping this continues to keep them away!

A: The active ingredients are Pyrethrins and Deltamethrin.

**Q: What does it smell like?**
A: It definitely has a very potent smell so whoever says it doesn’t is crazy lol I wear a mask or fold a towel several times or a shirt and cover my nose and mouth cause it is that strong I wouldn’t recommend just sitting in the room after spraying the product I would do it in waves until the room is completely sprayed down ( spray one section of the room leave for 30 mins let dry then com back and spray another section) and always wear a mask and eye protection just cause it is like misty I’ve had it come in contact with my skin I didn’t spray it directly on my skin but some of the product was dripping down can and I grabbed it I finished spraying my room then went up stairs and washed my hands three times with warm water it didn’t burn or cause a allergic reaction but it was just for safety reason just from the smell how strong it is it’s a natural instinct to just wash your hands I also recommend changing clothes after maybe even shower if you let a decent amount of mist get on you just to be safe as well it’s a strong chemical my first time using it I sprayed some cracks and windows and I didn’t wear a ask just eye protection and and once the smell kicked in I’m like man this is strong I should probably wear a mask so your natural instincts should kick in take it as a warning I felt if I would of stayed and sprayed the area any longer I would get sick or feel dizzy and nauseous and faint hope this helps!!! One more thing when spraying make sure your items and objects are out the way as stated it’s a mist product so move it far enough so it doesn’t get on anything it’s not air wick or frebreeze lol just saying

**Q: can you spray this spider killer spray where you hav pets inside**
A: This product uses pyrethrins/pyrethroids which are particularly toxic to cats because cats lack the ability to metabolize pyrethrin/pyrethroid compounds.  The compounds are even more toxic to fish.  So if you have cats or fish, I would not recommend using these in your home.  Dogs handle the same exposure to pyrethins/pyrethroids without incident.

***revised review*** Turns out if you totally coat the spider it will die in a few minutes. but stand by the fact I would not spray it overhead as it is a mist you you will fill your face and lungs with. It's fall in New England, all the spiders are looking to come in where its warm. I bought 2 cans with confidence it would work. It does NOT. Just this morning there was a big one crawling on the floor beside me, I grabbed the can, sprayed the crap out of it as it ran away. I continued to spray until it was covered in the stuff. I mean he didn't like it, he was running for the exit but it did not kill it. also it sprays out in a mist. I have a lot of overhead spiders in the rafters on my back porch that I was hoping to spray, I feel like this would mostly land on my face and not the overhead spiders I intend to kill. Thans all I can tell you about this product. Don't waste your money!
