We live on Long Island, in NY, his allergies were terrible and I suggested we walk on the beach. I looked at this dress and thought "that would be perfect for today. I should at least try it." I took it off it's hanger, already mentally planning alternate outfits and saw the most wonderful thing! At the waist, there were fabric belt , when it tied up, it fit very well, I was so happy!Beyond that, the elastic waist is high, like an empire waist, and extremely stretchy!So here at the end of my story, my final observation is that this dress FITS me well, i was post-two child bearing, lumpy body. And does not look like my body is struggling to be free of it. My body and this dress are existing in contented harmony, and both are looking forward to a Spring walk on a quiet beach.And the moral is- sometimes, if we take a risk, we win! Go for it ladies!
