Overall worth the money but could use some improvements.First off it wasn't packed very well and ended up destroying its own box on the way to me.Second The instructions are not very clear at all,from the looks of it they've changed the design a couple of times and the instructions don't really match the product and it even says so on the instructions not to mention how bad the English translation is.Overall I was able to figure it out after assembling it wrong a couple times.I did end up having to make a modification to it to make it safer to use.The The ramp you used to load and unload your motorcycle fits on a bar on the end on one end the bar is about half the thickness so that when you put the ramp in it can't tilt out but on the other end the bar is the same thickness as the rest of the rack so if your tire gets too far on the front or back the ramp will literally flip off and drop your bike. I ended up cutting about 3/4 of an inch off of one end to make them about the same.Third this thing is earringly loud on a gravel road but even on the highway going over the sections hearing the ramp bang against the bar and ring is extremely annoying I'm going to fix this by simply putting one of those sticky backed felt pads for chair legs on the main bar of the rack so the metal can't bang together but this really should come that way from the factory they would literally cost less than $0.10 per hundred.Fourth, The straps that come with it seem very cheap and they are but they actually work really well and are surprisingly sturdy.I won't be using them since I already have much better straps but for what it's worth I've used two of them to lift a Cadillac V8... So there are quite a bit stronger than what they're rated for and more than enough further intended purpose.I also used this to haul a 2007 KLR 650 which it's supposedly 380 lb but with fluids and saddlebags pushes right against the weight limit on this rack so me and couple friend who both way over 200 lb decided we were going to "Test" it before actually trying to carry a bike down the highway (better to break it in the driveway than to total my bike out on a trip)It was able to hold about 700 lb jumping on it and trying to use it as a seesaw.It is more than starting off to haul the KLR and I'm actually impressed since it weighs almost nothing itself.Other than the above the main bar looks to be powder coated and The coating is very thick and everything else is aluminum or stainless steel so I don't think I'm going to have any issues with anything rusting down the road. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ do not use the straps!! *by S***Y on September 10, 2023* it's on the cheaper side, and it shows. sturdy enough for my relatively lightweight bike. the welds look good enough, althought they don't really line up. i'll be replacing the bolts with grade8 to be safe. DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED STRAPS! they're crappy cheap ones and don't hold the clasp shut. i almost lost my motorcycle. i use a set of ratchet straps now, works beautifully. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well built, easy to put together *by S***N on October 23, 2023* Got this carrier after selling my motorcycle trailer. I have a two seater Vespa-style scooter weighing about 300 lbs. This unit works perfect for my purposes attached to my Subaru Outback. The raxk can be configured to mount inside or outside the carrier. I recommend mounting it in the outside for wait access. My only quibble is the straps which seem cheap and thin.
