The many excellent articles are biblically sound and written by the likes of Stanley Horton.I have several study bibles including the fire bible global study edition,ESV study bible, Concordia self study bible, the archeology study bible and others. This is one of the best. (The ESV study bible is a worthy alternative)I purchased this edition for my teen sons, and it is also the text provided for our churches teen outreach program called "campus missionaries "Honestly, just get it.you won't be sorry. We also have the leather cover version and it is well made an should provide years of service.One and only one caveat.The print is intended for young eyes, and to put a vast amount of information in a small place. This is a compact but complete study bible. If you or your teen have less than excellent eyesight, may I recommend the very similar and also outstanding full size fire bible.The original intent for this text was for use on the mission field for local pastors who may only have this single resource to help them share and learn Gods word. It has multitudes of references from one scripture to another, it even has themes throughout the entire Bible that outlines certain parts of Scripture that fit the theme. Then once you finish reading that specific passage, it has a reference to the very next passage that relates to that theme. These themes go throughout the entire Bible. It also arrived withink the days that it estimated, I had no problems with waiting long periods of time. Overall, amazing Bible.
