I can't find a way to simply sit on it.** A: There are a few things this bench doesn’t do well and you discovered it. The closest you can get is to loosen the bench seat shirt piece and slide it back towards the bar so the back long piece is more up. You won’t get to 90 but more upright. **Q: does this machine come with the leg developer or is it sold separately?** A: comes with leg developer. BUT, the shaft for the leg developer is only 1" - 1 1/4" round. not olympic sized 2". i believe they have an adapter for sale, but even with the adapter, the ledge for which the weights sit is only slightly bigger than 2", so not sure when you use 2" olympic weights that it will "sit and hold" properly **Q: When doing hammy and quad does this bench rock or sway? Debating about this or the FID46. Want sturdy not cheap. Main use will be for legs.** A: Thank you for your inquiry on the GDIB46L. I have used this bench for legs and as long as the user movement is controlled the bench will not sway. If you are looking for this to be primarily for the legs, I would recommend the FID46. The reason for this is the GDIB46L bench back does not go completely vertical so there isn't great back support for the leg extensions. The FID46 bench back does go vertical so when doing leg extensions the back can be supported. For the leg curls the motion and the feel will be the same since they are both designed as a supine leg curl.
