Review: Better than anticipated! - **UPDATE** My mom decided she wanted to do a smoothie cleanse and came over to "borrow" my HealthMaster. She essentially has kidnapped it because she has had it for ohhh at least 7 months or so and won't return it. It still works great according to her and it looks good when I go to her house and see it on her counter. She tried to make a smoothie with her blender and it just wasn't powerful enough so I guess she just decided to keep mine forever. It's funny but not really since I wanted to make a smoothie the other day and realized I didn't have anything to make it in. Mom, if you are reading this I put this on my Christmas list! Oh and for anyone looking for the temper (the stick like thing that you put in at the top to move your items around while it is blending...check the underside of the foam packaging as there is a slot it is inserted in. I was kind of upset when I thought they didn't include it and after about a month or so I was going to toss out the packaging and flipped over one of the Styrofoam and low and behold it was right there. So...I decided I needed to get more veggies and fruits in my diet but I can't stand pulp or chunks in my smoothie. I want smooth as silk smoothies! So I finally decided to try this one as it fit my budget and purpose. Was I skeptical? YES. BUT I have to say this is the best blender I have owned hands down. This blender is super powerful and I love the fact that you can program the speed and time and walk away and let it be the workhorse that it is. I added spinach, and about 4 cups of frozen fruit (different types). This blender made short order of everything I threw at it. I blended the spinach and 2 cups water first until well blended. Then threw in all that frozen fruit. At the end I was left with a completely blended smoothy with no lumps or chunks of unblended fruit or spinach. I would completely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great blender. This is a great buy and a fraction of the costs of some of the other brands (which I wanted but just not willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a blender). Review: It makes soup in 8 minutes! - I have had this blender for years now and thought that my old one was bad. Only to find out that it's the pitcher that is seizing up and the motor is still running fine. It fine chops everything into liquid form! ## Features - New BPA-Free pitcher and stainless steel uni-body blade that includes four super sharp serrated blades. The HealthMaster Elite emulsifier blender features a new shorter design with extra-large lid opening to easily add whole fruits and vegetables. - Food emulsifier pulverizes and liquefies whole fruits and vegetables in just seconds. New motor with almost two horsepower and 1200 watts of power. - Helps retain vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phyto-nutrients. - Makes hot foods like soups, sauces, coffees, and fondues with centrifugal friction to cook foods naturally. - Makes cold foods like frozen drinks, smoothies, sorbet, and ice cream. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00D374TQS | | Best Sellers Rank | #116,753 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #189 in Countertop Blenders | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Brand | Healthmaster Elite | | Brand Name | Healthmaster Elite | | Capacity | 60 fluid ounces | | Color | Black | | Container Material | Plastic, Stainless Steel | | Control Type | Manual | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 623 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00752356789107 | | Included Components | Fruit and Vegetable Blender | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 9"D x 8.5"W x 17"H | | Item Type Name | Blender | | Item Weight | 10 pounds | | Manufacturer | Tristar Products | | Material | 60 oz BPA-free pitcher, Stainless steel blades | | Material Type Free | BPA Free | | Model Number | JLA-8WAL | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Speeds | 8 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Multiple Speeds | | Part Number | JLA-8WAL | | Power Source | Electric | | Product Dimensions | 9"D x 8.5"W x 17"H | | Recommended Uses For Product | Blending, Coffee, Creams | | Special Feature | Multiple Speeds | | Style | Countertop Blenders | | UPC | 781147962245 752356789107 782195443649 735343677748 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 110 volts_of_alternating_current | | Warranty Type | Limited warranty | | Wattage | 1200 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Healthmaster Elite - **Capacity:** 60 Fluid Ounces - **Color:** Black - **Product Dimensions:** 9"D x 8.5"W x 17"H - **Special Feature:** Multiple Speeds ## Images ![JLA-8 Professional Countertop Blender, Emulsifier 1200-Watt with 60-oz BPA Free Jar Stainless Steel Blades for Frozen Drinks, Smoothies, Sauces & More, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vmzkQDZeL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than anticipated! *by J***L on October 22, 2015* **UPDATE** My mom decided she wanted to do a smoothie cleanse and came over to "borrow" my HealthMaster. Only to find out that it's the pitcher that is seizing up and the motor is still running fine. It fine chops everything into liquid form! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best blender ever. Tamper Under Bottom Foam?!?! *by K***) on December 11, 2022* I was reading some other reviews and one said the tamper thing was under the bottom foam!! I didn't know that and threw out the box. Now I'm without it. I bought one of these 10 years ago and used it all the time. Quinoa flour? No problem. Soup? No problem. Juicing hard thick stuff like kale?? NO. PROBLEM. Blending nuts into peanut/almond/hazelnut butter? No problem! Amazing. Then it finally died. The motor started getting hot and smelling burnt out with the harder tasks until finally it smoked so much. Literally burnt the motor up. I've never had a blender last so long. I tossed it and went to buy a new one. Couldn't remember this brand and went to the popular one. Blendtec and the other high-ends are sooo expensive. So after reading reviews ended up with a Ninja.... It couldn't make smooooth smoothies at all. We hates it. I really missed this model and found it for a lower price. I didn't believe it could be the same blender for that price. Maybe it was refurbished? Nope. It's not. I don't understand why this isn't just as popular as the blendtec or Vitamix. My roommate had a blendtec and this one was just as good. This is the best blender. I thought about buying an extra one just to have in storage for when it burns out eventually. I use it often for everything. Love love love it. Better than any other model in this price range. ## Frequently Bought Together - Healthmaster Elite JLA-8 Professional Countertop Blender, Emulsifier 1200-Watt with 60-oz BPA Free Jar Stainless Steel Blades for Frozen Drinks, Smoothies, Sauces & More, Black - 10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/17694107-jla-8-professional-countertop-blender-emulsifier-1200-watt-with-60](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/17694107-jla-8-professional-countertop-blender-emulsifier-1200-watt-with-60) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
