Installation is very easy - you basically put on the Velcro backing and then stick it to your door frame from the outside. Then presto you have a screen!The only downside is that it was too wide for my doorframe so I hemmed both sides on a sewing machine which only took about 10 mins. I also didn’t want the lace frill at the top so I cut that out with scissors (very carefully) which took about 3 mins. Sticking it to frame was easy except it was still an inch too wide down on one side so I had to stick it on the exterior stucco, which surprisingly worked ok but was not ideal. I hammered in the gold thumbtacks which worked great in the wood frame, but was not so good on the stucco (3 of them bent on hammering). So far it hasn’t pulled off from going in and out. Magnets line up really well and automatically!So all in all it is working great and looks fine, but check sizing before you order, or be prepared to custom sew it to fit.
