Rotate the laser in the barrel/chamber a 1/4 turn, repeat and mark the spot each time. This should allow you to zero the laser. **Q: will this work for a .22 lr?** A: No it does not work for a .22 lr. It only works for the 224 5.56mm or larger .22 would be too small. **Q: when using the bore sight tool, how far away should stand to adjust your rifle from your target?** A: What are you adjusting on your rifle? A scope? Open sights? It depends what you're adjusting. I was 75 ft away from my wall across my yard adjusting my scope. It's now right on at 200 and 400 yards with that adjustment. **Q: will this model work in a 35Whelen and 280Rem as well?** A: No. It only works on rounds that are based on a 5.56/.223 case. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/176615081-ezshoot-bore-sight-for-223-5-56mm-243-308-30](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/176615081-ezshoot-bore-sight-for-223-5-56mm-243-308-30) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
