Review: Got pregnant on a first try! - I did a lot of research on thermometers as I wasn’t really satisfied with just a regular one with no bluetooth. This thing made it to my cart and I couldn’t recommend it enough! I was using it months before we decided to have a baby so I have an idea of what my cycle looks like and we managed to successfully avoid getting pregnant when we didn’t want to without any other BC methods and then we got pregnant on a first actual try! It is very simple to use the instructions are very clear, easy to connect to the phone, the stick is flexible and very comfortable to use, it measures quickly and I love that the result lights up so I didn’t have to turn on the light early in the morning. On top of that the app you connect it to is easy to use, informative and you can switch it to pregnancy mode so I have been using it throughout my pregnancy as well. The temperature seems accurate and after a year I didn’t have to change the batteries still.

**Q: I can't find the premom app in the google playstore.  am i going to have to return this?  there's no way to update date, time, etc.**

**Q: Would this be good for tracking fertility as a form of birth control?**

This is a basal thermometer which is designed to measure the basal body temperature to assist users tracking their fertility progressions. BBT will increase 0.4-1.0℉ after ovulation, and there is a high chance to get pregnant if have sex on ovulation day and 5 days before. If you plan to use this as a method of birth control, you will need to identify your ovulation day and avoid intercourse during your fertile window. Please know it is not a 100% effective method in birth control.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it, so worth the extra money

Sometimes the Bluetooth is finicky & doesn't want to connect, but the temp is saved to the BBT & I just mess with it before I go to bed. Overall I am very pleased with this product. Yes the app has limited access for free and to unlock all the app features you have to pay. However, the app is similar to other apps that are offered for free, so no complaints. I hated the last cheap BBT that I bought with a super flexible tip, light that stayed on while reading temp, and no bluetooth from Amazon which had the same ratings. This BBT has a pretty solid flexible tip which is much better, it easily stays in mouth & I don't have to bite it to keep it in my mouth like the cheap one. The screen is large and lights up when turned on, goes out to save battery while reading temp, then when temp is done it beeps and the light comes back on so I can read it. At first I thought it was weird, but it helps me to sleep while the BBT is taking my temp.
