They have enough adjustments to take out most imperfections in the door opening and the door itself. Mine were anything but perfectly square, and I was able to conceal just about all of the slop after fiddling with it for a little while. However, there were no specs/instructions included in the order. I had to use several dummy boards to test out various settings on the jig to get the hole set correctly so that the door was flush with the facing. I was using 3/4" doors and facings, and the hole had to be set at 24mm (a setting of 6 on my Kreg jig). Just FYI for anyone else struggling with this. Overall, I'm very happy with the result. The slow close is nice, but a little too slow. The hinge comes in two parts - One the fits in a 35mm hole in the door that is held in by two screws and two the face frame part that is held in by two screws. With both pieces properly aligned with each other and installed the door part snaps (press fit) into the face frame part. The face frame part is able to be adjusted up and and / in and out a small about. **Q: Directions? It did not come with any?** A: We do not provide detail instructions other than the Blum spec sheet for adjustments - you may find installation videos on Blum USA website as well other cabinet hardware vendors. **Q: What's minimum width of the face frame is required. Will a 1/2" face frame be adequate?** A: Possibly, but I would only do that if I had a very hardwood to work with or, you can always install heavier gauge screws to plant the hinges firmly enough. The springs are pretty strong. I have 1 and 3/8 thick doors that I modified by router to make them to the hinges .900 thick on the inside of the door. There's also a third hole that you can use once you have it installed the way you want. I have glass in my cabinet doors, so soft close is a must for me, and they work very well so far. But yeah, kinda crappy screws that came with mine. Now the 35 mm hole does require pretty close to that depth so I would be careful with how close you get. Or just install little shims on the door plate side. **Q: Do these hinges come as a pair? do they co,e in ant other color?** A: I ordered 6 hinges, but I did get three bags. I'm painting mine a metallic rust color because my cabinets are drift wood stain.
