The main thing to be aware of is how it changes your sitting desk position: this unit sits on your normal desk, raising the keyboard position about 2.5cm and the monitor position about 12 cm. To keep everything right ergonomically, I adjusted my seat height to keep my arms parallel to the desk when typing seated and lowered my monitor height so the top of the monitor was level with my eye line. For standing use, the desk is infinitely adjustable up to it maximum height, which takes the keyboard to about 41.5 cm above normal desk height. I’m 5’8” and for me, 33cm above desk height is pretty much perfect. **Q: Does this require any assembly at home?** A: The only bit of assembly that is required is screwing the lower keyboard part of the desk onto the main height-adjustable section. All necessary tools are included (screws, allen key etc). Everything else is assembled, so there is no complicated assembly of the height-adjustable system.
