Lightweight and seems sturdy. Only downside is that it is a bit stiff to open and close, but I think it will probably get easier. This is ideal and just right for my feet. Only downside I've found is, don't lean heavy items, like heavy pans, casserole dishes ect.. against the top edge of the bowl as it folds down in that area and you lose much of your washing up water!
