This crafting mat is self healing and is also used as fabric cutting mat, dressmaking cutting mat, modelling board, or as a versatile craft cutting board. - SELF-HEALING - The A3 cutting mat self healing consists of 5 layers of different PVC materials. When an incision is made, the top layers of the green cutting mat contract together to hide the cut and keep the surface flat. - SUSTAINABLE - The two underlying layers of the Elan cutting mat A3 self healing are made from strong recycled PVC, which reduces the environmental footprint of our product. The middle layer gives the art cutting board craft robustness. To maintain quality, do not bend the craft mat A3. - PROFESSIONAL GRID - Both sides of the craft cutting mat A3 include a metric patchwork grid. The patterns and text on the hobby mat are professionally applied, ensuring long-lasting readability. - COLOUR & SIZE - Elan art mat green has two grid colours. The grid is yellow on one side and white on the other. Make sure to remove cloth threads before washing, let the mat dry completely before usage and avoid bending the mat in any part of the process. **Q: Which grid is on the mats?** A: Our cutting mats in UK have metric markings on both sides **Q: How does the self-healing layer work?** A: The self-healing layer allows most of the cuts in the mat to heal, without leaving significant traces. Thanks to the unique material used in the layers, most of the cuts will be restored. **Q: Are cutting mats heat resistant?** A: No, when exposed to too much heat the cutting mat can bend or even melt. This can compromise the effectiveness of the mat for its intended purposes. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/175481959-elan-self-healing-cutting-mat-a3-green-5-ply-craft](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/175481959-elan-self-healing-cutting-mat-a3-green-5-ply-craft) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
