When pressed down properly on the ends the lid will snap over the rim of the pan to fit. The lid lightly clicks into place, it is more of a loose fit on all pans. Proudly made in the USA.

It’s got a really heavy-duty, commercial feel to it, and it hasn't warped or bent at all, even when we've had it in a hot oven for dinner. The absolute best part about this set is the plastic lid. My wife does a lot of baking for school events, family get-togethers, and neighborhood potlucks, and she used to struggle with plastic wrap sticking to the top of her frosting or sliding off in the car. This lid snaps on securely, and it’s actually tall enough that it doesn't crush her decorated cakes or brownies. It makes traveling with food so much easier, and we can just snap it on to keep the leftovers fresh right in the pan without having to dirty another container. I'm very happy I bought these. I ordered two because my other 9 x 13 pans were about to bite the dust. These pans are very sturdy, as all NordicWare products are. Having the plastic lid is wonderful for travel or storage in the fridge. I love to bake and having good tools makes it all so much easier. I also like that these seem to be taller than the average 9 x 13 pans. I'd buy them again without hesitation.
