It gripped the top rail quite well. It was the second type we had bought as the first needed to be fed through the vertical rails of a proper wooden cot and we would have had to make a hole in the mesh sides of our travel cot to fit it on and we didn’t want to spoil it but this claw arrangement did the trick.
