It also is one of the thickest blades on the back end of the knife that I've ever seen, measuring at 1/16th of an inch. It's a beast of a knife and so easy to flip open with the flick of just one finger. I've decided to keep this one and will actually buy more of them. Would recommend this amazing, sturdy, sharp knife to any and all looking for a great, affordable, sharp and easy knife to open.
