Ok, that's not saying much, but seriously the 6-pin core on this thing is actually pretty good despite having been made by Master. This lock is harder to pick than an American 1100. Which, really, begs the question why their best core can only be found in a plastic lock when they've got locks that are invulnerable to any destructive attack short of power tools that can be picked by a 10 year old. But still, I think this lock is an essential addition to any intermediate hobby lockpicker's collection.

For its intended purpose - safety lockout - it's pretty good. It's not coming off the machine it's locking without a key or destroying it. For hobby lockpickers like me it's great because it's got the best core Master makes. Ok, that's not saying much, but seriously the 6-pin core on this thing is actually pretty good despite having been made by Master. This lock is harder to pick than an American 1100. It is strange to see such good pick resistance from master lock, especially in a low security plastic body lock. The pins will wear down after extended use (of practice), but that is normal. This has some deep spools and I had a lot of fun picking it open.
