Affter you have cleaned that fuel tank, and cleaned and rebuilt that carb, you know there are tiny pieces of nasty still in there just waiting to clog those now clean jets. You need an inline filter. No that vintage motorcycle rpobably didn't have one, but get something very small that won't restrict the flow. This Visa-Filter fits the bill well. Sure you can paint it black if you want so it doesn't show, but clear you can see that fuel is flowing, and if it starts to trap any sediment so you can change it out. This thing is tiny and little more than a captured fine mesh screen.
