**Q: How much weight can the top support?**
A: I can't tell you for sure, but according to the description the table is rated to 250 pounds, but as far as just the top, im not sure but I feel like it could hold at least 125 pounds, but probably more.  But again, don't quote me on that. We just have a table lamp, some picture frames, and candles on top of ours.  It does feel pretty solid though, so im sure it can hold quite a bitof weight as long as its not slammed down on top of it. Hope that helps

**Q: What specific tools are needed for assembly?**
A: It comes with a little wrench.  I needed a rubber mallet to make the parts come together.  Not super easy to assemble because it's hard to get an angle where the bolts screw in but do-able.  Takes two people.  But that said, I love it.  It's beautiful and sturdy.  Very heavy.
