It held quite a lot of stuff (poncho, mints, 4 snack bags, wipes, money & ID cards (nice side pocket), small souvenirs, 2 pieces of extra clothing, and more. There is no flat bottom piece, so I was concerned, but I was able to fit everything I needed each day. It is also small enough to carry onto rides and not annoying to carry. I did get a compliment from one of the bag checkers who recognized the brand. The strap is comfortable, but I wish it was just a dark color - it stands out in pictures if you wear it across your body. I was a bit off on this....But by no means disappointed!! I have several Laurel Burch items (the large shoulder toe on Amazon is awesome, btw) and love the colors and designs the artist uses. This bag I would describes as maybe being close to lunchbag size, but deeper. I had originally had the thought to keep my bottles of medications in it since I have a daily pill container in my purse. But then I noticed how much function it could bring to my planner and all the cutsie supplies and pens I use to organize life! It works great! I took a couple pictures to give an idea of size and what it could hold. And yes, my pen case is LB as well. I like that the interior is white, it makes it so much easier to find things. The only thing that I wish was different is the way the zipper works. The tail end is free and it has to be tucked into the bag to look nice and at the other end it needs to not be so close to the handle. It makes it hard to zip and unzip without putting it on a flat surface.
