Based on a superior viscosity index improver material, Oil Smoke Stop is effective over an extended length of time, maintaining oil viscosity at higher level. It may be added at the time of the oil change, and between oil changes if oil cunsumption is very high.

This product stopped the smoking on start-up issue that I had. It was presumably caused by leakage past the valve seals when sitting for extended periods.
