I need to install it for a very light sleeper with very acute hearing.** A: I am thinking about stopping using my unit because the noise it emits is very annoying. It's not loud but is persistent and gets on your nerves. **Q: Can i connect this to a pc to provide the battery info (and set graceful shutdown)? if so, do i need to use the rj45 or usb port on the ups?** A: It doesn't come with a lead anymore, you have to request one from APC, I have jst requested one (Dec 2020) and their earliest estimate to get stock is April 2021.
