Review: The Toyota of Mechanical Pencils - These pencils are PERFECT for my needs. First of all, the eraser is actually really good; it's precise and leaves no smudges. Additionally, I really like how these erasers can be easily replaced and bought. This already gives it the upper hand against Papermate clear point mechanical pencils, where the erasers cannot be bought by themselves. Moreover, the grip on these is immaculate; they are very grippy and comfortable. One thing I will note, though, is that the Clearpoint Break Resistant twist is smoother than these; however, these are still pretty good. Just for some reason, the green pencil twist is stiff, but the other two are smooth. Another reason why these are perfect for me is that the tip retracts, which is useful because I put these in my pocket. The appearance of these pencils is good; I like the metal clip. The overall durability seems to be good; it does not have any springs, just a traditional clutch with no spring, so it is less prone to jamming or failing you, like Paper Mate. I may have just found my Toyota of mechanical pencils. Review: Fantastic, works very well - Better than I expected. I use pencils every day. This one is good looking and works well ## Features - Lead breaks? No problem. Our sliding sleeve technology lets you keep writing even if your lead breaks. Advance again when convenient. - Fully retractable tip protects pockets and purses - Unique, extra soft ribbed latex-free grip for less writing fatigue during extended writing sessions - Frequent mistakes are no match for the larger than ordinary and long-lasting twist-up eraser - No smudges, no paper tears and no ghosts with the twist-up Eraser ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00DDWELI4 | | Additional Features | Retractable | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #55,349 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #419 in Mechanical Pencils | | Body Shape | Round | | Brand | Pentel | | Brand Name | Pentel | | Closure Type | Retractable | | Color | Random | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 363 Reviews | | Drill Point | Extra Fine | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00072512250860, 50072512250865 | | Grip Type | Ribbed | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Hardness | HB | | Included Components | No | | Ink Color | Black,Blue | | Item Diameter | 0.5 millimeters | | Item Dimensions | 0.5 x 7.38 x 2.81 inches | | Item Weight | 27.22 g | | Line Size | 0.5 | | Manufacturer | Pentel | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Name | Pentel Twist-Erase GT (0.5mm) Mechanical Pencil, Assorted Barrel Colors, Color May Vary, Pack of 3 (QE205BP3M) | | Model Number | QE205BP3M | | Recommended Uses For Product | Writing | | Style | pencil | | UPC | 072512250860 | | Unit Count | 3 Count | | Warranty Description | Limited Lifetime Warranty | | Writing Instrument Form | Mechanical Graphite Pencil | | Writing Technique | pencil lead | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Pentel - **Color:** Random - **Ink Color:** Black,Blue - **Writing Instrument Form:** Mechanical Graphite Pencil ## Images ![Pentel Twist-Erase GT (0.5mm) Mechanical Pencil, Assorted Barrel Colors, Color May Vary, Pack of 3 (QE205BP3M) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71cl5FuKzkL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Toyota of Mechanical Pencils *by J***S on August 28, 2026* These pencils are PERFECT for my needs. This one is good looking and works well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It just takes a while to fall in love with them. *by R***N on February 11, 2020* When I first got them I didn't like the colors or the plastic feel. After having them in rotation in my big jar o' pencils for a while now I find them to be amongst the most comfortable and effective for drawing and now I pick them to carry in my pocket. The lead sheath is long and slides back do I don't have to advance more manually. The eraser doesn't rotate accidentally like my Papermate twist erase pencils, which are also heavier and clunkier. These Pentels are really nice. They grow on you. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pentel Twist-Erase GT (0.5mm) Mechanical Pencil, Assorted Barrel Colors, Color May Vary, Pack of 3 (QE205BP3M) - Pentel Super Hi-Polymer Lead Refills, (0.5 mm), Fine, HB, Pack of 3, 90 Pieces of Lead (C25BPHB3-K6) - Pentel Twist-erase Refill Erasers, Qty 1, Pkg Of 3 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/1719569-pentel-twist-erase-gt-0-5mm-mechanical-pencil-assorted-barrel](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/1719569-pentel-twist-erase-gt-0-5mm-mechanical-pencil-assorted-barrel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
