## Description

The innovative design of this dual-function tool features an ultra-sharp machete blade on one side and an aggressive saw blade on the other side. The machete rips through underbrush and even small trees in a way that flimsy, stamped-steel blades can't. The large-toothed saw blade on the other side planes away wood with speed and precision to take down thicker trees and branches. A lightweight design increases swing speed to help you clear brush more quickly, and a Softgrip handle with a large hilt provides excellent grip and comfortable use. As a bonus, it includes a lanyard to secure the machete to your wrist for added control and safety.

Review: Very handy for tackling poke salad pruning - Seems to be a good quality and value combination. Good heft, clearing most things in front of it. Some of the bigger stalks responded better to angular slices. Fits my hand well.. Comfortable grip and seems very balanced. "Machet sharp" out of the package. Pleased with my purchase.
Review: It’s a Fiskars. Solid. - I own a tree farm. It’s about 260 acres. So there are large swaths of land where I am cutting down weed trees, and other things around younger seedlings. This thing has been really tough. And sharpens up easily. Nor have I had to sharpen it that much.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does it come with case?**
A: No case

**Q: Last year after monsoons the yard was full of six feet tall ragweed. The stalks were too thick to cut with most weed eating machines. Would this work?**
A: Best option for grass that tall is a brush saw attachment on a weed whacker. This is better for here and there brush as you treck through a forest.

**Q: What grade of steel is the blade?**
A: the description says tempered steel. it seems very strong to me!

**Q: Does it come sharpened?**
A: Yes. The machete is very sharp. Good for softer brush, cactus, agave. For thicker heavier branches you need the steel Tramontina machete.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s a Fiskars. Solid.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice blade but needs some sharpening and QC
*by N***. on March 19, 2022*

Nice feel but does not come sharp. The saw on the back looks a little menacing but is a pretty handy feature for brush. Snapped right at the second sawtooth on some I guess hardy Virginia thorny vines. The blade is still in good shape but dull and not useful anymore. Will check with Fiskars on the lifetime warranty and update here.
