I read a whole bunch and the "hydraulic tractor oil" subject.  You do not want to buy a cheap oil, you'll payfor it later.  This oil could and will probably go several thousand hours with only an annual filter change.Takes heat real well and is synthetic which helps it perform in all kinds of weather.  that's my 2 cents
