Love this item very useful for all sorts of things including bread. **Q: Can the cast iron Dutch oven be used on an induction hob?** A: Yes, I've used my Cast iron on my induction hob. They hold heat in great. Just remember to clean gently, no scourers, and dry and oil after use. **Q: Can this be used at 250 degrees centigrade in oven?** A: Yes, I bake sourdough in mine at 250c. I've used it a few times, the coating is still fine **Q: Did anybody have any problems with the product not being fully coated ie, some silver areas?** A: The cast iron pot comes seasoned from the factory but it is recommended to wash and dry your pot and rub in a very light layer of cooking oil on all the surfaces, inside and out. Put it in a preheated oven at 230deg C for approx 30mins and let it cook down. repeat a couple of times.
