The constant 2.8 aperture is lovely, and some nice bokeh at all focal lengths. It is a heavy lens, so have that in mind if you intend on sticking it on a gimbal. It’s not impossible, but changing the focal length extends the barrel and will throw off your balancing. All around great lens. I don’t regret not getting the GM even a little bit. Well worth it. An additional note: I bought this Used. The description was Like New, and I’m fairly sure it actually is brand new just with some damage to the box. Great bargain, so keep and eye out for the same.
