I bought these last year but as far as I remember, the best before date was several months ahead. However, the malteasers had a slightly tainted taste, possibly caused by poor storage. Not inedible, but I couldn't give them away as planned. And yes, I did eat the rest myself, though as I said, they were not 100%.
