This has been my go-to hair product for 7 years, after experimenting with around 20 other products through the ages.Here's my hair product criteria:- All-day hold: This holds its height basically all day, and if it starts sagging a quick finger-comb will shape it right back up. I do add some product in the evening if I'm getting ready for a long night out.- Feel: This is not sticky on your hands if you run your hands through your hair once it's dried. It's the absolute best hair product at keeping your hair something your partner will want to run their hands through.- Recoverability: This allows all-day reshaping of your hair. They way it degrades through the day is with a very gradual loss of height. But your hair still adheres to itself and it retains its ability to be re-formed with a finger-comb. It's not like other "pastes", which once they're dry, degrade through decoherence where your hair strands detach and float loose and can't be reshaped (I'm looking at you, American Crew!)- Wet/Dry Appearance: This doesn't look too wet, as long as you use it on mostly-dried hair. If you use it on wet hair, your hair will stay looking wet.How to use: I find this works best on slightly-damp/mostly-dry hair (like 10 minutes after a towel-dry). I use about 1/4 teaspoon, rubbed across my fingers and then finger-combed through the hair, being sure to pull through to the ends of the hair.
