Product description New and Improved Design We have re-designed the Dog Pool Exit Ramp by increasing the length of the platform into the pool. In addition, we have decreased the angle of the ramp into the water allowing easier access by your pet. Please take a look at the following pictures. Dog Pool Ramp Improvements Extension components We incorporated three bolts with washers and wingnuts that are easily used, without any tools, to attach the 12" extension to the main platform. Attaching the extension The bolts are easily inserted through pre-drilled holes and secured using the wingnut. All hardware is high quality stainless steel - no worries about rust. Extended leg struts The lower leg struts shown here have been extended an additional 2" - decreasing the angle of the pool platform into the water. In out of the pool we go... Review: Great product and customer service - This is a great ramp, it fits very nicely in the water on the edge of the pool, and my dogs mastered it on the 1st try. It is very sturdy and nice looking. When the dogs climb it, there is not movement and no feet slipping. I did have one issue where the top board and the lower board started coming apart, which I was concerned about. I emailed the seller, and within an hour, I had a FedEx notification, and an desertcart reply stating there were a few with a problem, and a replacement was being sent out. The new one is exactly like the old one but without the separation problem. It is a wonderful dog ramp!
Review: Comments On Otger Reciewd - My dog pool ramp arrived a week or two ago. Not wanting to be the victim of defects mentioned in other reviews, I immediately used a heavy-duty silicone waterproofing spray to all of the fabric portions of the unit. We’ll see what happens. And because my pool is a molded stone style I painted the white PVC legs black so they won’t be such an eyesore. Overall I think the construction and engineering is solid. I think it was the best of all product designs I evaluated while shopping. Now we’ll put it all to the rest and see what happens next. I’ll post an update when appropriate.

**Q: Can you use in an above ground pool**
A: Possibly. There needs to be a platform attached to the above ground pool - the top length of the dog ramp requires it for the counterbalance and weight bags. In addition, you need to be careful about where the support struts contact the side walls of the pool. The support struts were designed for cement walls - however, it may work fine with a small modification to the struts.

**Q: Is it safe to use with a vinyl lined inground pool?**
A: No, it is designed for cement sided pools.

**Q: Do you make one for a non-cement pool ?**
A: Not yet....plans in the works

**Q: Would there be a way to use this by securing it to the steel frame of a 48" above ground pool?**
A: Without seeing the above ground pool and the steel frame you are referring to I can't advise you.

This is a great ramp, it fits very nicely in the water on the edge of the pool, and my dogs mastered it on the 1st try. It is very sturdy and nice looking. This product is excellent. We have a 17lb dog. Took just one session for him to get comfortable using it to get into and out of the pool safely. Expensive but we'll designed and constructed. Minor recommendation with packing. Make sure the abrasive surfaces don't touch and rub during shipping.
