It saved me several hundred dollars based on the price of other pumps. Used in 45 foot, 20 inch well to water garden, grass, wash cars, etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect *by L***N on January 3, 2020* Submersible, 1/2 hp, 110volt.When replacing a jet pump with a submersible pump, you must purchase a control box. FYID🙀 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Listed dimensions are missleading. *by D***D on August 23, 2022* It is listed as a 4 inch pump. The pump itself is 3 1/2 inches in diameter but it has a rib going up the side from the motor to the top for the wiring. With that rib it was a very tight fit in my 4 inch well. I had to use a hammer and flatten the rib slightly to get it to fit. Other than that it was a fairly easy install. It is a little longer than my old pump so I had to adjust the length of the pipe but that was expected. Pipe threads were the same as the old pump so that was easy and the long power cable meant that I didn't have to do a waterproof splice that would be down in the well possibly in the water. Can't say anything about the longevity as it has only been on line for a couple weeks. It's on an irrigation system and only runs a few hours a day.
