I used tweezers to pull the strap into my old BCD. I then took it to my scuba shop. The man helped adjust my strap to the perfect size for a tank. Make sure to adjust your strap ahead of a trip since this may be tricky to do on a rocky boat. This strap held my tank really well and the tank did not move at all. It was really easy to snap onto the tank as well. My old plastic strap had just worn out. I am glad I replaced it with this strap since it is really nice and works well. It is also easy to snap onto your tank. Being a smaller women I had no issues getting it tight enough on my tank. They are jst a little more narrow but the holding power is great. I did leave the rubber strap taht was part of the original Zeagle setup and combining that with the piece of rubber in the Aqualung clasp and the tank will go nowhere.
