Can it play all discs?** A: This player supports multi-region DVDs. However, it is not fully compatible with all discs. Please clean the disc and check its side first. If you still suspect a device issue after verifying all connections, please contact our support team for a solution. **Q: What is the difference between an upgraded remote?** A: The original remote control features standard compact keys for basic daily use. For users who prefer simpler operation, we offer an upgraded large-button remote as an optional purchase package. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple, very affordable and effective DVID player! *by D***E on September 13, 2026* This is a very nice and user-friendly DVD player that is easy to connect and requires minimal effort. Great Customer service! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Customer service sent replacement after original unit stopped working *by K***Y on June 8, 2026* Update: Aug 17, 2026 I was able to contact the manufacturer directly through their site about the issues mentioned in my original review and they were prompt in providing me a replacement, responding to questions I had, and following up on the quality of the new unit. My new DVD player is working perfectly - exactly what I wanted out of a simple, compact player - and I'm extremely pleased with their customer service. They even helped me troubleshoot a resolution issue that ended up being my TV, not the player. Basic player, nothing fancy but does what I need, and great service to work with. Thank you, ELECTCOM for the response and help. Original Review: I bought this DVD player in March 2026. My roommate and I rarely watch DVDs but we had a few we wanted to access and our old player was bust. I didnt need anything fancy just something to watch DVDs once in a while. As soon as the player arrived, I popped in Pride and Prejudice to make sure it worked. Everything looked fine and the movie played through without problems. Skip ahead to a month later. We tried to play some old Narnia DVDs but they wouldn't register. We'd had problems playing them on a friend's PS4, too, though, so we didn't think much of it. Today I decided to try again and now the thing won't work at all. I've tried different HDMI ports, I tried plugging in the old school inputs. No connection. It won't play anything, even the Pride and Prejudice disc I originally played on it. It simply gives me the ELECTCOM Screensaver (so I know it's connected and the TV recognizes it) but the machine itself says "no CD." You can hear in the video, even, that it initially spins and tries to read it, then just stops spinning. When i call the help line, I only get a busy signal. So now I have two broken DVD players. ## Frequently Bought Together - DVD Players for TV with HDMI, DVD Players That Play All Regions, Simple DVD Player for Elderly, CD Player for Home Stereo System, Included HDMI and RCA Cable - 2025 Model HDMI DVD Player for TV | 1080P Region Free DVD-Players for Smart TV | Mini DVD Player with USB, CD & MP3 | HDMI Cable, RCA Cable & Remoted Control | MAJORITY DVD --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/167683556-region-free-dvd-player-for-tv-with-hdmi](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/167683556-region-free-dvd-player-for-tv-with-hdmi) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
