My son is unable to unbuckle himself, which is frustrating for him, and means me, twisting my back turning and having to unbuckle him from the front seat and is just a pain. This product not only saves time, but also the pain of unbuckling, I have carpal tunnel syndrome, and both my parents have arthritis, so I bought one for all of us. My parents were beyond thrilled when I gave them the UnBuckle Me, since they drive my son a lot, because his carseat is so difficult to unbuckle and caused them a lot of pain in their hands to unbuckle him. Now, all 3 of us don’t have to deal with that since he is able to unbuckle himself! This item is not just useful for toddler car seats, but for infant car seats that use the same kind of clip (I think most do?) Just for less stress on whoever is unbuckling the infant out of the seat, it just saves the hassle all-around for anyone who uses a car seat that has to be unbuckled. I cannot praise this company enough, and I did not yet mention the superiority of their customer service. I had an issue, and they not only emailed, but texted and called me and immediately replaced the item, not only that, they also were incredibly kind and sent me extra replacement! That kind of customer service is what makes me choose the companies I shop with, the only other company that I buy from, and I shop from dozens of companies, that had comparable customer service to this degree is MeUndies. In this day and age, I am SO sick of talking to AI chatbots, and this company uses old-school REAL customer service. All my mommy friends were thrilled when I told them about the UnBuckle me, as I only have one child but most of them have 2 or 3, and most of the moms in my sons class have purchased 1 or more of these after I showed them how amazing it was by giving them a demo…truly, this item cannot be beat! Thank you so much UnBuckle Me! Your product is worth its weight in gold, and THAT is something that is nearly impossible to come by these days. This is a MUST-HAVE for any parent with infants or toddlers. My son loved that they come in green and blue, his favorite colors. Even if you don’t have carpel tunnel or arthritis in your hands, you still need this item! If I had to choose only one product to recommend when it comes to helpfulness, efficiency and quality overall for parents of kids who are still in car seats, THIS would be the product. I cannot sing their praises enough. Don’t even hesitate, just buy it! Review: A game changer for kindergarten drop off - As kindergarten was approaching, I started getting worried about car rider line because my daughter couldn’t independently unbuckle herself from her car seat. I bought this at the beginning of summer hoping it would help her learn how to do it on her own. It only took her two tries to figure out how to use it, and she was immediately able to independently unbuckle herself! She absolutely loves it. If it falls down from the cup holder, she gets upset because she loves being able to do this independently now. This has made such a difference in our transition to kindergarten and has given her the independence she needs to get herself out of her car seat in the car rider line. If you have a young child who needs to learn how to independently unbuckle themselves for school, I highly recommend this! ## Features - As Seen on Shark Tank, the car seat clip opener that eliminates thumb pain and broken nails from unbuckling a child or toddler car seat for parents, grandparents and all caregivers - Patented lever arm reduces the force needed to unbuckle an infant or toddler 5 point harness buckle by more than 50 percent to help anyone with limited hand strength like arthritis, carpal tunnel, tendonitis, etc. - Soft, grippy surface keeps it stable and provides a comfortable surface to push, press or squeeze the ends together to apply leverage to unbuckle - Works as an opener on all child car seat buckles (including infant rear-facing, convertible and booster seats that use a 5 point harness seat belt) and many strollers, high chairs and other push-button devices - Invented by an Occupational Therapist with thumb arthritis (who is also a Grandma of four) and her daughter, who is a nationally certified child passenger safety technician (CPST) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07JJZY1JT | | Best Sellers Rank | #447 in Baby ( See Top 100 in Baby ) #1 in Car Seat Chest & Harness Clips | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (15,107) | | Item Weight | 0.64 ounces | | Item model number | 205 | | Material Type | Plastic | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Package Dimensions | 5.98 x 3.98 x 1.81 inches | | Target gender | Unisex | ## Images ![UnbuckleMe Car Seat Buckle Release Tool - Easy Opener Aid for Arthritis, Long Nails, Older Kids - Button Pusher for Infant, Toddler, Convertible 5 pt Harness car Seats - As Seen on Shark Tank (Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71m5u3I5xEL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can this be used on a driver’s seat belt release ?** A: Thanks for the question! Unfortunately UnbuckleMe was not designed to work on adult seat belts, as adult seat belt buckles are vertically oriented and a different shape. UnbuckleMe is designed for child car seat buckles where the red button is flush with a flat casing around it. Adult buckles can typically be pushed with the fingers of a straight hand, rather than full reliance on the thumb. However, we know this can still be a struggle. Hope this helps! **Q: Why is this no longer being sold on Amazon? I see no price or any way to order one.** A: Hi! So sorry for any confusion. We are currently restocking this color with Amazon fulfillment centers and in the meantime you can order by selecting the “other buying options” button to buy direct from us. I hope this helps! You can also order through our website until Amazon restocks again (within 1-2 weeks). **Q: Will this work on child proof buckle that is magnetic?** A: Hi, I’m not sure exactly what buckle you’re referring to, but my guess is that it would not be compatible. UnbuckleMe is designed for the flat push button buckle where the red button (square, rectangular or circular) is flush with the black casing that surrounds it. Anything that is designed to prevent a child from unbuckling would likely interfere with our product, which is intended to make unbuckling easier (for those who need that, at the appropriate times). I hope that helps, please contact us through our website if you need more assistance. **Q: Where is this made?** A: UnbuckleMe was made exclusively in the USA from 2016-2020, and we continue to manufacture in the USA. We have recently opened secondary manufacturing in China to keep up with growing demand, but the materials used are identical, and UnbuckleMe has been fully tested and free of BPA, iron, phthalates and several other hazards. We retain complete control of manufacturing and have strong oversight of all manufacturing facilities, from our headquarters in Houston. If you prefer to buy through our website and message us, we can ship USA-made parts. Thank you! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MUST HAVE ITEM IF YOU HAVE A BABY OR TODDLER! *by S***S on February 27, 2025* I cannot even begin to explain how necessary and life-saving this product is. The tool reliably disengages buckles with a single, smooth motion, eliminating the need to pry with my nails and allowing me to maintain my manicure without compromise. Its compact form includes a secure attachment point for keys, so it travels with my everyday carry rather than getting lost in the diaper bag. Equally valuable is the tool’s ability to clip neatly to the side of the car seat, providing immediate, intuitive access when moments are tight. Constructed with convenience and durability in mind, UnbuckleMe streamlines a common parenting frustration and earns a strong recommendation for parents seeking a simple, effective solution. ## Frequently Bought Together - UnbuckleMe Car Seat Buckle Release Tool - Easy Opener Aid for Arthritis, Long Nails, Older Kids - Button pusher for infant, toddler, convertible 5 pt harness car seats - As Seen on Shark Tank (Black) - Bucklebee Easy Car Seat Buckle Release Aid for Children Unbuckle Car Seat Release Tool - Car Seat Button Pusher - Car Seat Opener for Nails - Car Seat Buckle Release (1 Pack Teal) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/167065993-unbuckleme-car-seat-buckle-release-tool-easy-opener-aid-arthritis](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/167065993-unbuckleme-car-seat-buckle-release-tool-easy-opener-aid-arthritis) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
