Some of them have been the typical mass merchant brands (Ace), and others from various Amazon retailers. This one is probably the best I have found, so far. It is tight enough to help with holding my knee in place, but not too tight as to cut off circulation. It does fit a little small. I ordered the large, since my thigh diameter at 4 inches above the knee is 20 inches. According to their size chart, this puts my right in the middle of the large size dimensions. If my thigh was even 21 inches, which would still be in the large size category, I think it would be too tight. So, keep that in mind when ordering.
