Ideal for efficiently managing hard, dry hooves while minimizing stress on both animal and handler. ## Description The Hoof Boss Mobile Basic Goat Hoof Trimming Set is a portable electric hoof trimming tool designed for goat owners who maintain small herds of meat or dairy goats. The Mobile holster accepts a DeWalt 20V rechargeable lithium-ion battery or compatible replacement. The battery is NOT INCLUDED with the trimming set. This mobile hoof care system can be used anywhere thanks to the innovative holstered battery connected to the tool with a short, unobtrusive cord. The battery powered Hoof Boss provides the same power as the electric plug-in version while giving you the freedom to move comfortably around your animals. The Hoof Boss trimmer is ergonomically designed to reduce wrist and hand strain commonly experienced with traditional hoof shears. The balanced size, weight, torque and speed allow efficient trimming while still being easy to control with one hand, leaving your other hand free to manage the goat’s leg. The Basic Goat Set includes premium tungsten carbide grinding discs designed for different hoof conditions and trimming needs. Blue Disc – Medium Grit Best for goats, sheep and pigs. The blue medium grit disc offers a balanced combination of material removal and finishing capability. It works especially well for regularly maintained hooves or smaller hooves that do not require aggressive trimming. It is also a popular option when working with goats recovering from hoof issues. Silver Disc – Extra Coarse Designed for maximum material removal in the shortest amount of time. This disc works best for larger goat breeds such as Boer goats, bucks with very hard hooves, or animals living in dry or cold climates where hooves become extremely tough. Purple Disc – Fine Dome Top This fine grit finishing disc features a dome profile that allows precise smoothing of the hoof wall and final shaping after trimming. Climate conditions and hoof hardness will help determine which disc works best for your trimming situation. Battery and charger not included. ## Features - Designed for goat hoof maintenance: Suitable for regular trimming and upkeep. Quickly removes hoof flap and sole material while helping re-establish proper hoof form. The cord has a loading dock for the battery. I originally bought the AC and sent it back for the battery trimmer. I love it. Can do my goats hooves anywhere **Q: How much does it weigh?** A: The tool itself is about 13 inches long and just a little over a pound. 1lb. 3oz. **Q: Does it have to be dewalt? I only own Milwaukee tools, will their batteries work? .** A: Yes it does have to be a DeWalt. All the manufactures make their batteries and chargers slightly different so you have to buy there equipment. We could only afford to make one type of connection so we chose DeWalt. Thank you for your interest in our product. **Q: Can this be used for sheep as well instead of buying both? I have both sheep and goats.** A: Yes they will do both ## Frequently Bought Together - Hoof Boss - Goat Hoof Trimmers Basic Mobile Set - Requires 20 Volt Battery Not Included - Goat Hooves Trimmer Tool Kit - Grinder Discs and Accessories Included - DEWALT 20V MAX Battery, Compact 2.0Ah (DCB203) - DEWALT 20V MAX* Charger (DCB115) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/166823479-hoof-boss-goat-hoof-trimmers-basic-mobile-set-20v-battery](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/166823479-hoof-boss-goat-hoof-trimmers-basic-mobile-set-20v-battery) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
