I contacted Bose, telling them the significance of what this repair meant to me. They dispassionately replied they were out of warranty and offered me a discount on a new alternative pair ( not the point) I approached Bang & Olufsen for repair and they laughed me out of their shop. ( I would have paid anything for a high quality repair) So emotionally charged was this repair that I searched forever looking for an after-market high quality replacement that felt right. From start to finish this company felt super good. Their reassurances on quality and money back guarantees for light years, really felt like they believed in their product. It arrived promptly and too nervous to dismantle the old ear cuffs myself, I took them to a Hi-Fi repair company on Tottenham Court Road in London. They fitted them and remarked they ‘were of much better quality than we normally see.’ Tonight, I’m sitting here approaching this horrible 5 year anniversary playing my sons favourite songs again with beautiful, comfortable crystal clear clarity again.
